Terry Lamb

Wellington Rd Birrong Canterbury-Bankstown Council

From Alan Whiticker's 'The Terry Lamb Story' and the hijinks of a young Terry Lamb and brother, Peter, as reported to Whiticker by their sister Kim:

"Terry would niggle and annoy Peter and a fight would start from there. Once, they started wrestling in the lounge room, progressed to the laundry and then finished out the front. They wouldn't listen to me and I couldn't pull them apart so I put the hose on them to break it up."

Then his brother, Peter:

"Terry was always dobbing someone in, trying to get them in trouble, yet he knew how to bend the rules or get around things. One summer, he was hanging out with the local "toughs" at Birrong Pool when he came home with his ear pierced. They had done it themselves after numbing his earlobe with a piece of ice. He was scared to death that mum would find out."
