Ian Robson

Former location of Sydney Airport Hilton which has since been demolished. It was here in the early 1990s that the budding Auckland Warriors ARL bid met with Ian Robson about the CEO position of the club. He would help build the club and finished with the Warriors in 1996. He'd then take a role as marketing manager of the English Super League. Later, he would become CEO of the Hawthorn AFL club and then Essendon where he would stand down amid the Bombers doping scandal. He'd then become CEO of the Melbourne Victory A-League club and Rowing Australia.
