Tip Top

Former location of Tip Top's bread factory in Newtown - since been replaced by a school. In 1958 Tip Top was the first Australian bakery to offer sliced and wrapped bread nationwide. Tip Top used Kangaroos halfback Allan Langer [and his mum] in a famous commercial which ran in the early 1990s in the northern states. Tip Top used Victorian, South Australian and Western Australian AFL players in those respective states.
